Oui3 itself is being built as a Perpetual Purpose Trust. Once  our investors are paid back, ownership transfers to the publishers and journalists who create the work. Until then, our first publishers and journalists who join - our Lede Council - will create the policies and ideals that will lay out the structure and rules, identify fairest models of revenue sharing, design site features, make recommendations, etc. Members of the Lede Council will be identified with a star in front of their name on the site.

When the industry owns the platform, stories and ad revenue are protected from extraction — and truth-telling becomes sustainable again.
